At the Worlwide Learning Center we understand that children can possess multiple forms of intelligence, this is why we've instituted four specially designed programs to suit different forms of intelligence.
Music is our first multiple intelligence program, this class allows children to hear many different styles of music and have them explained and broken down. The music program also allows children to write songs and learn new instruments with the guidance of professional instructors. Children benefit from music in several ways, children can relate to music and better understand their feelings or learn new feelings. Music is another form of communication and learning it young can drastically improve communication skills and creativity.
Our nature program allows children to learn about different plants and animals and the way they cooperate in an ecosystem by reading and also exploring in designated zones. Children can learn each species functions and how they all live in harmony. Learning about nature is beneficial to children because is can show them the importance of all life and that everything has value. Children also benefit from this program by learning safety precautions to take in nature such as how to avoid poison ivy or dangerous animals.
Linguistic intelligence is becoming less common with children, for this reason we have instituted a special program to help children understand language. The language program allows children to read and write poetry and short stories to express themselves. The program also analyzes literature to help children understand complex ideas and form opinions on real issues. This program is very beneficial to children, by teaching them how to express their feelings and ideas they will be able to properly communicate with others. Children can also look at communication as an art form through this program and perfect their art and use it to understand and convey ideas and form relationships.
Our spacial intelligence program allows children to draw and paint as well as use other visual art forms to express themselves. Children learn about art history and the dynamics in images that make them stand out and invoke emotion in the viewer. This program is especially beneficial to children because it helps improve their relationship with the physical world around them. When children learn to dissect images and understand visual stimulation they can appreciate the world and art around them as well as improve their capability to understand emotions.
